It also discusses the iniquity of
the “tax equity market” where the whole world is waiting for the super wealthy and massively profitable corporations to siphon off these tax breaks as an added bonus to them for their investments. Of course this isn’t working… These entities have had their taxes lowered to exceptional levels, their tax shelters turned into mansions, their offshore profit switcheroos into islands. Yet the government is beholden to this “tax free” ideal in the name of spurring the economy, which in the 4th year of a recession is clear it is NOT WORKING to spur economy-wide benefits, only localized benefits for the receivers of these breaks.
