As 2011 comes to a close, it’s a good time to reflect on the year it’s been; review the plans and goals made, missed or kept and what still needs to be done; where we’ve been and where we’re going.
As usual, I don’t have the time to do this justice now, even though my best intentions are to really give the proper thought, consideration and passion to it: these are the reasons people will believe in us, follow us and contribute to us. i will be adding to this post as i can, so check back and add your two cents if you want!

our biggest disappointment… lets just get it out there and find the strength it is to be vulnerable to show our low point, and how strong it makes us to recognize it and eliminate the fear of it:
Biggest: That in spite of having so much to say, and while feeling a sense of urgency, the website is still not up and running. It’s a matter of time, namely not having enough.
So far it seems better to wait and launch the right thing, rather than just something. In fact, for functionality, there is a minimum threshold of website content and level of operating to be reached otherwise the entire website will have to be redone constantly. So building it a piece at a time and adding as you go is not really an option until you’ve reached that minimum point.
Although it is painful to still not have that beautiful website i envision, i am working on it: compiling content, facts and the like. Its the hours involved in web designing from scratch as a beginner that kill the momentum. (seriously, 2 days and 10 emails back and forth to make a readily available “easy” program work, simply because the instructions left out a major step, that even their web support couldn’t figure out. After about 15 hours working on it, I figured it out for myself! For something that should have been as easy as download-> configure -> put on your site. Everything is like that. Nothing just “works”.
What we’re proud of:
honestly, that there even is a blog and website underway would have been out of the realm of possibility just a year ago, but i do wish i had much much more accomplished and done at this point, more stories found and told.

strive to be more outspoken, more personal, more widely known..all more often!
what would this time next year look like if everything worked out great?
All Our Energy will be well along in developing it’s content and community to
-help communicate with eachother and the general public,
-help anyone who wants to get (more) involved in renewable energy: from basic information and public awareness to helping bring projects forward, to helping shape public policy, and and all points in between.
